The Project Manager works with clients and translation teams to manage the timely flow of all translation project tasks from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who can be part of our growing team and has a proven track record in Project Management in the translation industry.

Job description

• Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements
• Manage client relationships and serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients
• Manage and co-ordinate project teams throughout all phases of the project, including both in-house and freelance translators, using proprietary workflow and project management tools
• Take care of file pre-processing and post-processing tasks
• Checking and editing translations and managing quality control processes
• Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and localization teams
• Ensure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability

Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience managing projects for Life Sciences clients
• University Degree, preferably in a language-related subject
• Excellent computer literacy with an understanding of localization processes; very good knowledge of CAT tools is a must
• Ability to independently lead large projects, including project scheduling and managing teams at the project level
• Linguistic skills with the ability to assess quality and completeness of translations in the Life Sciences sector
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay calm under pressure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English for working with suppliers and clients across cultures - proficiency in other languages is an asset
